Expect a lively atmosphere at the RCF Pop-Ups with shopping, interactive activities, and only made better by all the tasty treats next door from the array of selected local food purveyors at Smorgasburg.
We have some fun activities to join in on that will be popping in and out each weekend. Lauren Simkin Berke will be dispensing drawings, hand-lettered notes and transcriptions with influence and inspiration from the crowd each Saturday as a nice handcrafted memento of your day on the waterfront. Don’t forget to stop by the free-to-use Magnolia Photo Booth! It will be on site each Saturday too, furnished with props and accessories to help commemorate your visit to the inaugural Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn Pop-Ups!
At the June 27th Pop-Up, Melissa Diaz, invites attendees to enter and explore her interactive hut, where attendees can weave and blend their own creations onto the structure using materials on-hand. Spend a snippet of your day at the June 27th Pop-Up learning polymer clay techniques with Okru. In this series of short workshops hosted by State x State, you’ll learn the basic polymer techniques (such as marbling, gradients, and abstract texturing) that have become the foundation for the Okru collection. Not only will you leave with new skills, you’ll also have your own unbaked polymer creation to bake when you get home!
We hope you will join us at one or more of our Saturday Pop-Ups this June! In the meantime, please feel free to grab a Fair flyer and help us spread the word!
