🌿 THE ART & THE MAKER

Who is the artist behind Planetarium Design? All designs are created by Esther Yaloz, a textile designer who grew up in a farming village in northern Israel. Her lifelong love for wildflowers and nature serves as the primary inspiration for our prints. 

What does "Handprinted" really mean? Every item in our shop is hand-printed using traditional screen-printing techniques. Unlike mass-produced items, Esther dyes, prints, and packages each piece by hand in our local studio. This artisanal process ensures that no two items are exactly alike—each possesses its own unique charm and minor variations.

What inspires the designs? Our work is a celebration of the resilience and beauty of wildflowers. You will also see themes of lunar cycles (like our popular Moon Calendars), botanical gardens, and the natural landscape of the Texas Hill Country.

How should I care for my handprinted apparel? To keep your botanical prints vibrant and soft:

  • Wash: Machine wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle.

  • Detergent: Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent.

  • Dry: Tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry.

  • Iron: If needed, iron on medium heat inside out. Never iron directly on the printed design.

🌎 SUSTAINABILITY & MATERIALS

Are your products eco-friendly? Sustainability is at the core of what we do. We use sustainable cotton for our apparel and prioritize "slow fashion" by creating durable, handmade pieces. Our printing process is designed to minimize waste and celebrate raw, natural materials.

What kind of inks do you use? We use high-quality inks that are cured into the fabric. Because they are hand-printed, the ink integrates with the fibers for a soft-to-the-touch feel that won't crack or peel like heavy plastic-based prints.

📦 SHIPPING & RETURNS

How long will it take to receive my order? Since everything is handmade and packaged with care in our San Antonio studio, please allow approximately 5 business days for processing. Once shipped, domestic orders typically arrive within 3 to 15 days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

What is your return policy? We want you to love your functional art! We accept returns within 14 days of delivered purchase. Items must be unused and in their original condition. Please contact us directly to initiate a return.
